Keio University is offering scholarships to international students from developing countries through the Asian Development Bank-Japan Scholarship Program (ADB-JSP). The scholarships are available for Master of Science and Master of Science in Engineering degree programs commencing in September 2024. Eligibility:
- Citizens of an ADB borrowing member country
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with excellent academic record
- Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English
- At least 2 years of full-time working experience in a professional company after bachelor’s degree graduation
- Not more than 35 years old during the application period
- In good physical and mental health
- Admitted to the International Graduate Program (IGP) at Keio University
- Committed to returning to their home country and contributing to its development after completing the program
- Not working as an ADB Executive Director, Alternate Director, management, or staff, or have a relative working in one of these positions
- Not falling into any other category that makes them ineligible for the ADB-JSP scholarship

- School of Fundamental Science and Technology
- School of Integrated Design Engineering
- School of Science for Open and Environmental Systems
Scholarship Benefits:
- Full tuition fee coverage
- Entrance fee coverage
- Monthly allowance (including housing allowance)

- Travel expenses (one round trip air ticket)
- Medical insurance
- Additional research grant (for some students)
- Computer literacy, language, and other related courses (for some students)

Keio University will announce the results of the study program selection process around mid-January 2024.

The application deadline for the master’s programs at Keio University is November 2, 2023 at 17:00 JST. The required document submission deadline is November 7, 2023.
